PRCA Rodeo (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association): A rodeo created almost by accident in 1936 when a group of cowboys walked out of a rodeo at the Boston Gardens to protest to the actions of rodeo promoter W.T. Johnson, who refused to add the cowboy's entry fees to the rodeo's total purse. Johnson finally gave in to the cowboys demands, and the successful “Strike” led to the formation of the “Cowboy's Turtle Association.” In 1945 the Turtles changed their name to the Rodeo Cowboys Association, and in 1975, the organization became what its known as today, the PRCA. Cervi Championship Rodeo, as one of the largest rodeo producers in the PRCA, continues to uphold the legacy instilled by founder Mike Cervi in 1967 when he prioritized delivering top-quality stock for fans to enjoy. Today, the company has surpassed his initial vision, with a commitment to excellence evident in their production of major events across the United States, top-notch rough stock supply for the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, and one of the largest breeding programs for rough stock in the PRCA. Their relentless pursuit of greatness is reflected in a hectic schedule that sees the rodeo production team traveling to over 30 events annually, conducting more than 150 performances, and consistently delivering outstanding experiences for rodeo enthusiasts nationwide. The signing of a 3-year contract between the Cheyenne County Fair Board and Cervi Championship Rodeo following the successful 2023 Cheyenne County Fair signifies a strong partnership and trust between the two entities. This agreement secures Cervi as the stock contractor for the 2024, 2025, and 2026 Cheyenne County Fair & Rodeo, ensuring the continuation of high-quality and exciting rodeo events for attendees to enjoy in the coming years. The long-term commitment demonstrates confidence in Cervi's expertise and dedication to delivering top-notch stock and memorable rodeo experiences, further solidifying their position as a prominent figure in the rodeo industry.

7:00 PM - David Nail with special guest Dylan Wheeler
David Nail is well-respected up and down Music Row. Some might even call him a “tour de force” as his songs pull no punches in evoking the demons with which he has wrestled through much of his life. The GRAMMY-nominated multi-platinum singer/songwriter’s early releases “I’m About To Come Alive,” “The Sound Of A Million Dreams,” “I’m A Fire,” and “Fighter,” ignited his reputation as an innovator and creative risk-taker yet left Nail feeling restless. Through dealing with his own journey of mental illness and the feeling of needing to “rebel against what people expect you to be,” Nail began making his most “organic” work to date. David Nail &The Well Ravens, with Jason Hall and Andrew Petroff, released an EP titled “Best of Me” in 2023 and the title track has seen heavy press support and country radio airplay. Nail plans on releasing more music this year, leaving behind any self-imposed restrictions. Dylan Wheeler's music has all the singer-songwriter laden depth that lyric lovers covet, while his blending of both Rock and Alternative genres allows his original productions to feel comfortingly familiar whilst simultaneously breathing a gust of fresh air into a scene that has long been saturated by its Country roots. In 2019 Dylan finalized the decision to becoming a full-time musician by quitting his job working in the Oil & Gas industry and committed himself full-time to his music and everything that goes along with it. In just a few short years Dylan has gone from getting 10’s of thousands of views on acoustic videos that he would post to now amassing 10’s of millions of total streams across all major platforms.

2nd Annual “Rumble on the Rails” Demolition Derby! Take part in the excitement of a County Fair Demolition Derby! A Demolition Derby is an event where drivers compete by crashing their cars into each other in an attempt to disable the other’s vehicle. It is a spectator sport and participants often use cars that have been modified for maximum durability. The event consists of multiple heats in which drivers are randomly paired up and pitted against each other in a single elimination tournament. The last car running wins the heat. At the end of the event, all of the winners from the heats compete in a championship round. For safety, all drivers must wear helmets and seat belts. The cars are inspected for safety and all drivers must sign a waiver before participating. There are also rules governing the type of car that can be used. The County Fair Demolition Derby is a fun and exciting event that can provide great entertainment for the whole family! Promotor: Wil ‘B’ Urs Promotions
